Motueka Tennis Club

This club has been running since 1919 and is set beside the picturesque Memorial Park, in Pah St behind Memorial Hall and Public Library.

There are 4 astro turf courts in outstanding order, 2 of them floodlit. There is a $8.00 gate entry fee for non-members. For club members the clubhouse has tea making facilities, toilets and showers. Beside is a playground for children.

We have about 60 Senior members, and junior membership is growing. Coaching is available through our club coach, Peter Bradley: 528 4549 or 021 023 19767.

Social Tennis
New members are welcome to come along anytime.
Social inter-club competition play is on a Wednesday in summer - 6pm.
Social tennis on a Tuesday & Thursday morning - 9.30am.
Social Tennis on Saturday and Sunday, 1pm year round.
Mens Interclub competitions are run during summer on Tuesday evenings.

Centenary Celebration
Celebrations for the Centenary (100th birthday) took place on November 12th, 2011. It was held at the Memorial Hall and included a meal, music and a guest speaker. A special cake was prepared for the occasion - see photo at right.

This was a better attended AGM, with 17 persons present, than in the previous year.
