Top of the South Rising to the Occasion

January 8th, 2018

Motueka, Tasman has found itself the lucky host of a special, one-off performance by folk artists and activists, the sister-duo Rising Appalachia on January 28 2018.

United Vibrations is stoked to announce the exclusive New Zealand show at the Motueka Memorial Hall on Sunday 28 January.

Rising Appalachia will be supported by home-grown talent Matiu Te Huki and My Golden Soul. You can buy tickets online at Eventfinda and door sales will be subject to availability.

"So excited to come to New Zealand for the first time yall! It will be an intimate evening with just Chloe and Leah on banjo, guitar, fiddle, and celtic drum." said Chloe and Leah Smith, "We look forward to sharing with you all. Thanks for the support!"

Rising Appalachia are currently on their debut Far Callings Tour down under, and have just released their seventh album called ALIVE. You can find details on their website www.risingappalachia.com

For more information on the gig you can check out the event page on Facebook: Rising Appalachia with Matiu Te Huki and My Golden Soul or contact Starrlite Mclean at United Vibrations on unitedvibrations101@gmail.com
