Community contact database gets its annual update
August 30th, 2017
The online database of contact details for all known Motueka community groups and clubs has had its annual spring-clean and update.
The document, which statistics show is downloaded dozens of times a month, is maintained by Vision Motueka and available on the Vision website, at www.visionmotueka.org.nz/docs/community-group-database.pdf, or via a link from the home page.
The database has been available for five years now, and each year emails go out to all contact people who are listed to check that they are still up to date.
Now that responses have come in, the new document has been placed on the website.
However, organisers recognise that not all groups have a listing, so they are happy to hear from any organisations which have voluntary operations and members and who would like to be added to the document.
Listings are free.
Vision Motueka says the facility has been running because it has the potential to increase the reach of community organisations and to strengthen the Motueka community as a whole by more easily connecting people with each other.
