Women's Support Link Motueka
We offer women of all ages free and confidential:
• support,
• advocacy,
• general counselling,
• addiction counselling,
• women's life-skills programmes,
• library.
Support:
Our staff are available to listen, give information, refer you to the most appropriate helping agency or counsellor and support you to make positive changes for yourself.
Advocacy:
We can accompany you to police, doctors, lawyers, Work and Income, Women's Refuge, and other agencies.
Counselling:
We provide free and confidential counselling with trained counsellors. This service includes general counselling and addiction counselling.
Women's Life-Skills Programmes:
These are available on an individual basis throughout the year for women. They provide information and skills to begin to understand and move towards positive change. Sessions include grief, sexuality, addictions, boundaries, self-esteem, women's issues, relationship issues, loneliness & anxiety, abuse & women's anger, and communications/assertiveness.
Library:
We have a wide range of books available to borrow.

Funding:
Women's Support Link receives funding from the Ministry of Social Development through Child Youth and Family and Family and Community Services, Canterbury Community Trust, Lotteries Grant Board, COGS and donations.
