Motueka Genealogy Group

A branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists

The Motueka Genealogy Group was founded in 1990 to encourage family research and provide support and resources for those interested in this research.

The Group meets at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of each month, apart from January. Unless otherwise noted, the venue is Community House, Deck's Reserve.

Currently, three meetings a year are held at the SeniorNet Rooms in Pah St, when members can discuss and engage in Internet research as well as learning other computer-related genealogy skills.

We hold an extensive library for the use of members as well as having a number of members who are experience researchers and are available to assist those new to genealogy. There is also a monthly newsletter circulated via e-mail.
