Motueka Pottery Workshop Inc.
The workshop began in 1974 when a group of local people interested in making pots formed a club. The workshop members rent a building in the Riwaka Domain from TDC and have all the equipment there necessary for producing pottery.
Members of the workshop run classes for beginners during the year and on Wednesday evenings have a club night when committee members are available to give advice to newer potters.
During the year special events are organised including workshops by visiting potters, raku days and pit firing weekends.
The joining fee is $25 and the annual subscription is $25. Members are issued with a key so they may use the building at any time.
The workshop members run the annual Riwaka Market Day on January 2nd and members may sell their pots.
